Dr. Jing Han, O.D.A product of Sacramento, Dr. Jing Han, O.D. went to high school at Del Campo High in Fair Oaks. He then began his studies with his undergraduate degree program at California State University of Sacramento and completed a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry with a Biochemistry concentration. During his time spent in undergrad, he was able to search out his true passions, helping others and the interest in science. With the assistance of internships, Dr. Han discovered optometry as a lifelong career and passion.
He went on to obtain his Optometry Doctorate at Illinois College of Optometry, Chicago (ICO). He is trained in all aspects of Optometry. During his training, he worked at private eye clinics in Atlanta, Anchorage, and also the VA hospital in West Virginia.
Upon graduation from ICO, he decided to return home to Folsom and start Healthy Eyes Optometry practice in 2006. |
On his spare time he enjoys camping with his two boys, cooking, gold panning (<---ask about secret gold panning spots), Ocean Kayaking and offshore fishing. *Works at Folsom, EDH, Merced, and sometimes Placerville locations.

Dr. Nila Welker, O.D.Dr. Nila Welker has been a licensed optometrist for over 27 years. She started out her education at San Diego State University where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Zoology. She then furthered her education by graduating from the Southern California College of Optometry in 1992 and has loved being an optometrist every since.
Dr. Welker grew up in Davis and enjoys outdoor activities such as horseback riding, paddle boarding, kayaking, and snorkeling. *Works at Folsom location. |

Dr. Monica Rodriguez-Bayes, O.D.Dr. Bayes is native of Southern California, and graduated from the University of California, Berkeley School of Optometry. She completed her Bachelors of Arts in Biology at Amherst College in Massachusetts and her Masters of Science in Biology from Stanford University. She is also board certified in the treatment of glaucoma and ocular disease. In her free time, Dr. Rodriguez-Bayes enjoys running, hiking, and camping with her family. She is excited to meet you all and to help you with any of your eye health needs.

Dr.Bhatt is originally from Toronto, Canada. She graduated from the University of Waterloo with a degree in Biomedical Science. She continued her education in Chicago and graduated with magna cum laude from Illinois College of Optometry. With diverse clinical training, she likes to focus on diabetic eye exams, glaucoma, and dry eye disease. Dr.Bhatt is fluent in English, Gujarati and Hindi.
She is very excited to stay in the northern California and take advantage of all the outdoor adventures it has to offer! *Works at Folsom, El Dorado Hills, and Placerville locations. |

FatimaFatima joined us in March of 2017. She graduated from NCE college as an optician and is the Healthy Eyes' head optician. She enjoys assisting everyone that comes through the door. Her friendly attitude may greet you in our office. She has experience in frame styling, optical troubleshooting, frame adjustments and extensive lab experience.
She specializes in selecting the right frame for your personal style and your prescription. Fatima spends her free time doing yoga and reading a variety of books. |

CeciCeci recently moved to Sacramento from Orange County and has been a great addition to our Optician team here at Healthy Eyes Optometry. With over four years of experience, Ceci ensures that patients are delivered the most up-to-date technology and materials that best suit their needs. She is also trained to edge glasses, so in case of emergency she can make glasses in-house the day of your appointment.
In her free time, Ceci loves to participate in outdoor activities such as hiking and taking her dog out to the park. |
